Beyond preserving cultural values, Betabeq also conveys a message about the community’s role as hosts in working together to ensure that every event is conducted safely, orderly, and smoothly,” said Governor Iqbal.Chairman of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia and ITDC Director of Operations, Troy Warokka, said that the readiness to host an international event is determined not only by the readiness of the circuit and operational aspects, but also by strong community support and collaboration.“There is an aspect that is equally important as the operational readiness of the circuit ahead of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, namely ensuring that the local community, as the host, is also part of the event journey. This is an important element of Indonesia’s country branding. Therefore, the success of this event requires collaboration among all stakeholders. We want every guest and spectator who comes to experience the values of Sapta Pesona and take home lasting memories,” said Troy.According to Troy, Betabeq also reflects the character of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia in The Mandalika, where an international-standard event comes together with the local values and identity of the people of NTB.“When the world comes to NTB, we have an opportunity to showcase not only the quality of event management, but also the region’s hospitality, sense of togetherness, and cultural richness. We invite the entire community to work together in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and conducive atmosphere so that the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 provides the best experience for everyone attending The Mandalika,” Troy continued.Through Betabeq, ITDC promotes three main approaches: Inform, Engange, and Prepare. inform is carried out through socialization and communication regarding the organization of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 to stakeholders; Engage focuses on strengthening cross-stakeholder collaboration and support through the cultural approach of Betabeq; while prepare aims to enhance the readiness of the NTB community as hosts who provide a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience. The collaboration extends across various segments of society at the local level, including 20 village heads across Pujut Sub-district and 12 sub-district heads throughout Central Lombok, as well as various community organizations. Therefore, collaboration with the Fire and Rescue Service is an important part of ensuring that The Mandalika is prepared to face various situations, both during daily operations and when the area hosts international-scale events,” said Pari.ITDC is also strengthening service accessibility for international tourists and stakeholders through cooperation with the Class I Immigration Office of Mataram, by providing immigration services at The Mandalika, located in the central parking area of Bazaar Mandalika.Immigration services are scheduled to be available at least twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, covering various needs, including residence permits, changes in immigration status, extensions of visit visas, Exit Permit Only (EPO), Registration Certificates (TSP), changes to personal data or activities, as well as immigration information and consultation services. The availability of these services allows immigration administrative needs to be accessed more conveniently by foreign tourists, business operators, foreign workers, and international stakeholders conducting activities in The Mandalika. Tourists need a sense of security, business operators need a conducive investment climate, event organizers need certainty and security guarantees, while international stakeholders need services that can support their activities. Therefore, we are building cross-agency collaboration as part of our efforts to strengthen the foundation of The Mandalika as an internationally standardized integrated tourism destination that is ready to accommodate various national and international-scale activities,” explained Pari.Through strengthened preparedness, immigration, and security services, ITDC continues to enhance collaboration among stakeholders to establish The Mandalika as The Ultimate Lifestyle Sportstainment Destination, supported by a well-prepared destination ecosystem.

GRC shouldn’t just stop as a supervision and compliance system, but it must become a culture embedded in business processes and decision-making. The Board of Commissioners will continue to encourage the strengthening of oversight and risk management functions so that ITDC can carry out its role as a master developer and asset manager prudently, adaptively, and sustainably,” said Ekos Albar. The award is an appreciation of ITDC's efforts in building the implementation of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) that is increasingly integrated into the company's strategy, business processes, oversight, and decision-making. ITDC is currently developing and managing three tourism areas with different characteristics: The Nusa Dua in Bali, The Mandalika in West Nusa Tenggara, and The Golo Mori in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. As a master developer and asset manager, ITDC not only develops the areas and infrastructure but also manages assets and builds a business and tourism ecosystem within them.GRC from Compliance to Business Enabler Acting President Director of ITDC, Ahmad Fajar, emphasized that the growing scale and complexity of ITDC's business demand that GRC be positioned not just as a control mechanism, but as part of business judgment in every strategic decision. As a master developer and asset manager, ITDC not only develops the areas and infrastructure but also manages assets and builds a business and tourism ecosystem within them."For ITDC, GRC is more than just compliance. GRC is the foundation for making the right business decisions, protecting the company from risks, and at the same time helping us see opportunities and create value. That's why GRC has to be present from the moment strategies are formulated, risks are identified, decisions are made, all the way to implementation and performance evaluation," said Ahmad Fajar. According to him, effective GRC implementation should be able to give management a complete perspective in understanding the relationship between strategy, risk, compliance, internal control, audit, ESG, and company performance. ITDC brings this approach to life through the implementation of Integrated GRC, including risk-based RKAP, Risk Appetite Statement, Board Meetings and Risk Management Forums, as well as strengthening the functions of committees that support company oversight and control. Tone from the Top, Role Model, and GRC Culture According to Ahmad Fajar, the success of GRC implementation ultimately depends heavily on tone from the top, leadership role modeling, and the company's consistency in building awareness and learning so that GRC becomes ingrained in the organizational culture. GRC is not enough to just appear in policies, procedures, or oversight forums. These principles must be a part of how the company sets priorities, assesses risks and opportunities, and makes business decisions. "Awards are not the ultimate goal. What’s far more important is how we build a strong and sustainable GRC system, so that GRC becomes a culture and continues to work in every company decision-making process. That’s the legacy we want to build," said Ahmad Fajar. For ITDC, the success of GRC is not solely measured by the level of compliance with procedures, but by its ability to support better business decisions, improve performance and efficiency, protect assets, and create long-term value for the company and all stakeholders. This aligns with the approach ITDC has developed to make GRC an enabler for healthy, adaptive, and sustainable business growth. This Integrated GRC approach is part of the principle that ITDC continuously strengthens: Protect Value. Create Value. Sustain Value. Protecting the company's value through good governance and risk management, creating new opportunities and performance through quality business decisions, and ensuring that value can continue to grow and be sustainably preserved.
