The Mandalika, August 25, 2026 – Following the fire that struck the Sasak Sade Traditional Village in Rembitan Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Saturday evening (August 22nd), PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) continues to support emergency response for the affected community. Based on preliminary data, the fire affected 75 houses, as well as several community and tourism facilities in the Sasak Sade Traditional Village. From the evening of the incident until Tuesday (August 25th), ITDC has mobilized emergency response support and distributed various basic necessities to affected residents. In the follow-up response, ITDC has also been appointed as the point person for the distribution of disaster response aid in the Sasak Sade Traditional Village fire to help coordinate support from State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and various parties to ensure targeted distribution of aid according to the community's needs. ITDC Operations Director Troy Warokka stated that this support demonstrates their concern for the community and their commitment to working together with the government and various parties to help address the impact of the fires. "Since the night of the incident, we have been continuously coordinating with the Central Lombok Regency Government and related agencies to support fire management and meet the needs of affected residents. This figure represents a 10.54% increase compared to the 2,259,269 visits recorded in the same period the previous year. This growth is reflected not only in the increasing number of tourists but also in strengthening business indicators in each area, including increases in occupancy rates, length of stay, and high-value MICE activities.
