The Mandalika, July 28, 2024 – An extraordinary achievement was recorded in Indonesian motorsport as 8 Indonesian riders triumphed in the second race of Round 4 of the Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2024 at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on Sunday, July 28. In the UB150 class, two Indonesian riders, Husni Zainul Fuadzy and M. Murobbil Vittoni, both from the YAMAHA LFN HP969 INDONESIA Racing Team, secured second and third place on the podium, while the first place was claimed by MD Akid Aziz from the PitsBike OneWay JRT Tech2 Racing Team. In the AP250 class, Indonesian riders swept the podium, with Muhammad Faerozi Toreqottullah from the YAMAHA Racing Indonesia team taking first place, Muhammad Kiandra Ramadhipa from the ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM securing second, and Arai Agaska Dibani Laksana from the YAMAHA Racing Indonesia team finishing third. Despite suffering an injury from a crash during the qualifying session in the previous ARRC Round 3 in Japan, Faerozi made a stunning overtaking maneuver on the final lap to emerge victorious.
In the SS600 class, Mohammad Adenanta Putra from the ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM secured first place, followed by Veda Ega Pratama from the same team in second. In this class, Kiattisak Singhapong from the Honda Racing Thailand team took third place. In the ASB1000 class, Andi Farid Izdihar from the Honda Asia-Dream Racing with Astemo team, who secured first place in Race 1 on Saturday, July 27, 2024, finished third, while first and second places were claimed by Soichiro Minamimoto from the YAMAHA TEKHNE Racing Team ASEAN and Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah from the JDT RACING TEAM, respectively.
