Kempinski Bali
The long-awaited Apurva Kempinski Bali will open on Feb 1, marking the European hotel group’s debut on the island. Built on a cliff above the Indian Ocean at Nusa Dua, the resort is home to 475 rooms, suites, and villas. Sixty per cent of the accommodation offers private plunge pools.
Six restaurants, bars and lounges include Koral, Bali’s first aquarium restaurant, while Japanese flavours are showcased at Izakaya by OKU, an outpost of the OKU restaurant at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta.

Rebranded Sanur Hyatt
Bali Hyatt, dormant for several years, has bounced back to life as the Hyatt Regency Bali. Spread across more than 22 acres of land, the beachfront Hyatt Regency Bali is one of the largest hotel developments in Sanur.
Lush gardens originally designed by tropical landscape artist, Made Wijaya, who created the Naples Botanical Garden in Florida, have been preserved. Resort facilities have been modernised while the overall development has maintained the look and feel of the original design.
Hyatt Regency Bali features 363 rooms spanning 290 to 871 square feet, including suites with private balconies overlooking the gardens or Indian Ocean.

Pullman Mandalika
Slated to open in the lagoon area of Mandalika by this year, Pullman is expected to feature 229 rooms and 23 villas. Though earlier reported that construction of the hotel was estimated at around Rp 400 billion (US$28.75 million), cost is set to come from the company’s own funds.

Grandé Starbucks Seminyak
The new Starbucks Jl. Sunset Road Seminyak is said to be the largest of the brand’s stores in South-east Asia. Think swinging seats on the patio and plush couches in the library-themed room on the second floor. The building's floor-to-ceiling windows on one side look out on to a micro-plot of arabica coffee trees, illustrating the store's aim to give an insight from seed to cup.
