WHO WE ARE
Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is a state-owned enterprise focused in creating new tourism destinations in Indonesia. For 45 years ITDC has developed and managed the Nusa Dua, a tourism complex in South Bali, to be one of the world’s most prestigious tourism destination. With international standard infrastructures as well as accommodation and meeting facilities, the Nusa Dua has become host to various official international scale events such as APEC 2013, Bali Democratic Forum, Miss World 2013, and recently IMF-WBG Annual Meetings 2018.
In line with Government's strategy to raise tourism sector to become country's main source for foreign exchange by increasing foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia, ITDC was assigned to develop tourism destinations outside Bali. Based on PP No. 50/2008 and Government Regulation No. 33/2009, ITDC acquired the right to develop and manage the Mandalika in Central Lombok, NTB, with an area of 1,175 hectares. The Mandalika is one of ten priority tourism destinations set by the Government to become 'New Bali', and has been officiated as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) since 2017. Currently the Mandalika is being built as Indonesia’s next world-class tourism destination, with various international standard facilities and attractions.
ITDC 100% shares are fully owned by the Republic of Indonesia represented by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia/Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), in which the Republic of Indonesia becomes the final parent entity.
