WHO WE ARE

Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation, or ITDC, is an Indonesian state-owned company known for developing and operating the World Renowned Tourism Complex: the Nusa Dua.  Located in the southern part of Bali, ITDC under PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), was established in 1973 after an exhaustive study by the Indonesian Government and the World Bank that sought to create an environmentally sustainable and integrated model for a tourism destination. 

With over 40 years of experience in creating world-class tourism destination, ITDC is now ready to spread its wings and assist the Government to carry out national tourism development programs by creating new tourism destinations in Mandalika Lombok and all over Indonesia.

  • ABDULBAR M MANSOER

    PRESIDENT DIRECTOR

    Born in Solo, on March 22 1969, domiciled in Bekasi, West Java. Appointed as President Director of the Company since October 22, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No.SK-198/MBU/ 10/2015.

    He pursued his Undergraduate Degree (S1) in Architecture Studies at the Faculty of Engineering of Gadjah Mada University and BSc in Management Information System (MIS) – College of Business at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2001.

    He started his career as staff in Master Planning Division of PT Gajah Tunggal Property (1994 – 1995), then as Information Systems Manager in PT Batasa Capital (2002 – 2006). He joined Bakrie Group as Vice President Director of Investment in PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia, an investment company (2006 – 2007). Represented the Company. Representing the Group, he was appointed Commissioner of PT Aetra Air Jakarta (2007 – 2009) and Director of PT AcuaticoPte, Ltd based in Singapore (2006 – 2010). In 2008 he was the Business Development VP in PT Bakrieland Development Tbk., and in 2010 was appointed as Business Development Director in PT Aquatica Indonesia, a subsidiary of Aquatico Pte, Ltd (2010 – 2012).

    Last position held was President Director of PT Aetra Air Tangerang (2010 - 2015), the clean water producer holding 25 years of concession in the district of Tangerang under the PPP scheme (Public Private Partnership). He has been involved since the initial tender process conducted by the Government through the Ministry of Public Works, through the completion of construction and fully operational phase. The company supplies drinking water for over 70,000 households and 276 industries with total production capacity of 900 liters/second.

  • A. A NGURAH WIRAWAN

    DIRECTOR

    Born in Jakarta, August 16 1965, domiciled in Jakarta. Appointed as Director of the Company since October 22, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-198/MBU/10/2015.

    He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics majoring in Management from Padjadjaran University in Bandung in 1989 and attended various professional trainings in infrastructure projects such as Airport
    Commercialization Program at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam (1994), Integrated Terminal Design at Ellerbe Beckett, New York (1995), Metro Bilbao Train Operations System, Spain (1997), MRT Financing at MTR Hongkong (2007) and CEO Network Enhancing Program (JETRO) in Tokyo and Nagoya (August 2014).

    He started his career in PT Sanggraha Pelita Development Service (Bakrie Group) as Planning Assistant Manager for property and infrastructure projects (1990 – 1991). During 1992 – 2000, he was involved in various projects such as at PT Citra Permatasakti Persada (Police Force Driving License Computerization in 1993), PT Citra Buana Beton Perkasa (Cengkareng Integrated Residential Area in 1994), PT Citra Lamtoro Gung Persada (Kuala Namu International Airport and Manggarai Integrated Terminal Design in 1995) and PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (Triple Decker in 1997). Since 2008 he was involved in JORR W2 North Toll Road project of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as Project Commercial Director and Director in PT Jakarta Marga Jaya, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Jakpro until June 2015. He held concurrent positions as Corporate Communication Division Head in PT Jakarta Toll Road Development (6 section toll road in Jakarta) (2012 – 2014) and then as Director in PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo (a subsidiary of Jakpro in infrastructure) since July 2014.

    Actively involved in various professional organizations, such as Indonesian Transportation Community (MTI), Association of Telecommunication Tower Providers (ASPIMTEL) and Indonesian Toll Road Association (ATI), Infrastructure Compartment Head of Professional Civil Society (MPM) and Chairman of Permanent Committee for Facility and Infrastructure of KADIN Infrastructure Department.

  • JATMIKO K. SANTOSA

    DIRECTOR

    Born in Blitar, July 5, 1971, domiciled in Jakarta. Appointed as Director of the Company since October 22, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-198/MBU/10/2015. Previously served as executive in PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), an SOE in infrastructure financing, consultation and development as Project Development Division Head (2011 – 2014) and Project Development and Advisory Division Head (2014 – 2015).

    He completed his study in accounting at University of Indonesia in 1996, and IFC Training on Public Private Partnership at Harvard Kennedy School - Executive Education Harvard University at Cambridge, in 2012.

    He started his career as consultant in Deloitte Touche Corporate Finance (1996 – 2000), then since 2000 joined Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN) for 4 years with his last position as Chairman Office Group Head (2002 – 2004). In 2004 joined an investment company PT Fortius Investment Asia as Director then as CEO (2005 - 2007) and served concurrent positions as Director in subsidiaries, PT Lentera Lapan Asia and PT Hakea Arsya Corpora (2004 – 2005) and President Director of PT Rakata Karya Sakti (2005 – 2007). In 2007 served as CEO in PT Teguhkarsa Wanalestari, an oil palm plantation company in Riau also become President Commisioner PT Fortius Investment Asia until 2011.

  • EDWIN DARMASETIAWAN

    DIRECTOR

    Born in Jakarta on January 18, 1959, domiciled in Jakarta. Firstly appointed as Development Director of the Company since March 21, 2011 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. 75/BUMN/2011 and reappointed as Director since October 22, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-198/MBU/10/2015.

    He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Indonesia and Master of Business Administration from Gadjah Mada University, started his career as Marketing Manager in PT Samudera Indonesia in  1982 before joined PT Bank Dagang Negara (Persero) (1985 – 1999) with his last position as General Audit Team Leader. He was also part of Merger Team of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) that cosists of 4 state-owned banks in July 1999, namely Bank Dagang Negara (BDN), Bank Bumi Daya (BBD), Bank Ekspor Impor Indonesia (Bank Exim) dan Bank Pembangunan Indonesia (Bapindo).

    At the end of 1999, he joined PT Bank Ekspor Indonesia (Persero) as Audit Department Head and then served as Treasury Division Head (2005 – 2009). At the end of 2009 the government changed the status of PT Bank Export Indonesia (Persero) into Indonesian Exports Financing Agency (LPEI) or Indonesia Eximbank where he was assigned as Asset Restructuring Division Head until 2011 before appointed as Development Director of PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Bali (Persero) or BTDC which later became ITDC.

  • I GEDE ARDIKA

    PRESIDENT COMMISSIONER

    Born in Singaraja, Bali on February 15, 1945, domiciled in Jakarta. Appointed as President Commissioner of the Company on November 2, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-215/MBU/10/2015.

    Graduated from National Hotel Academy (APN) in Bandung in 1967, Hotel Management of International Institute Glion, Switzerland in 1972 and College of Administrative Sciences - Institute of Public Administration (STIA-LAN) in 1977. He also attended Akta IV program from IKIP Malang (1994) and SESPASUS education in 1992. He then completed the Course at National Defense Institute (LEMHANAS) in 1995 as the best graduate and received Wibawa Seroja Nugraha award.

    After graduated from APN Bandung, he was appointed as Assistant Lecturer and Head of Teaching Materials (1968). Upon his return from his study in Swiss, he became Lecturer (1972 – 1973) and was assigned as Acting Director of National Hotel Institute (NHI) Bandung (1973 – 1976), then temporarily served as Director of NHI (1976 – 1978). Subsequently he was appointed as Director in Hotel and Tourism Education Center in Nusa Dua, Bali (1978 – 1985) while also a member of Education Commission of International Hotel Association (1974 – 1984). In 1985 he was assigned to Directorate General of Tourism as Acting Sub-Directorate Head of Hotel and Accommodation (1985 – 1986), Sub-Section Head of Hotel and Accommodation Directorate (1986 – 1988), Section Head of Planning (1988 – 1991); Regional Office Head of Tourism, Post and Telecommunication Department of Bali Province (1991 – 1993); Head of Education and Training Center of Tourism, Post and Telecommunication Department (1996 – 1998); Secretary of Directorate General of Tourism (1996 – 1998); General of Tourism Director, Tourism, Arts and Culture Department (1998 – 2000); Deputy Head of Tourism and Arts Development Agency (2000) and the Minister of Culture and Tourism (2000 – 2004).

  • LALU GITA ARIADI

    COMMISSIONER

    Born in Puyung, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), October 1, 1965, domiciled in Mataram, Lombok, NTB. Appointed as the Commissioner of the Company since November 2, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-215/MBU/10/2015. Currently also serves as Assistant for Economy and Development of the NTB Provincial Secretariat (since 2013).

    He earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Brawijaya University, Malang (1989) and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Gajah Mada University (2001). He attended a number of trainings including Sepada Official Education and Training (1993), Adumla (1996), Spama/Diklat PIM III (2003), Diklat PIM II (2013) and professional trainings such as Training for District and Provincial Economics, Australia (2007) and Training of Port Development, Management and Operation, Germany (2008).

    He started his carrier as government employee in the Government of Sumbawa Regency in 1990, then promoted to the Government of NTB Province as Sub-Section Head of Education and Training in (1995). He was assigned in various positions in Culture and Tourism Department and NTB Provincial Secretariat with his last position as Head of Culture and Tourism Department Head (2008) and then Assistant for Economy and Development of the NTB Provincial Secretariat (2013).

  • TRIARKO NURLAMBANG

    COMMISSIONER

    Born in Bogor, January 12, 1963, domiciled in Jakarta Appointed as the Commissioner of the Company since November 2, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-215/MBU/10/2015.

    He earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from FMIPA of University of Indonesia (1987), Graduate Diploma in Geografi from The Australian National University Canberra (1992), Master of Arts in Social Science from The Flinders University of South Australia, Adelaide (1992) and a doctoral degree in Public Policy from FISIP of University of Indonesia (2013). He has attended a number of trainings including Microcomputer Application for Demographic Analysis, Demography Institute of Faculty of Economics of University of Indonesia (1988), Urban Development Design, The Australian National University (1992), Application of Geographic Information System for Marine and Coastal Development, University of Indonesia (1999), Sea Training and Workshop, NCEAUtrecht, the Netherlands and the Ministry of Environmental Affairs in Copenhagen (2007), IDEAS Training (Leadership and Management: Application of “U” Theory by Otto Schammer and Peter Senge, held by MIT Sloan-Boston and IDEAS Fellowship – UID - Boston, Jakarta, Denpasar and Bandung (2008 – 2009).

    He is currently active as lecturer at undergraduate and post-graduate programs in Geography Department of FMIPA, University of Indonesia (since 1990) and serves as Cooperation Division Head at Research Centre for Climate Change of UI (since 2011) and Research Centre Head for Development Regulations of UI (since 2014). Other professional activities include Advisor to Buana Khatulistiwa, an NGO involved in spatial information services, regional and environmental development (since 1996), researcher/consultant for a number of government agencies and multinational companies (since 1996), instructor in various trainings of economic and marketing potential development, marketing management, marketing communication, change management, entrepreneurship, start-up business and business intelligence (since 1996), and assists establishment of several new companies or business incubation development (since 2000).

  • DADANG RIZKI RATMAN

    COMMISSIONER

    Born in Bandung, West Java, on January 13, 1963, domiciled in Depok, West Java. Appointed as the Commissioner of the Company since November 2, 2015 based on Decision of the Minister of SOEs acting as GMS No. SK-215/MBU/10/2015 dated November 2, 2015. Currently also serves as Deputy for Tourism Destination and Industry Development of the Ministry of Tourism (since June 2015).

    He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Law from Padjadjaran University (1986) and a master’s degree in Public Administration from University of Pittsburgh (1994). He attended a number of trainings including Advanced Administrative Leadership School (Sepala)/General Administration (ADUM)/Leadership Education and Training (Diklat PIM) Level IV (1996), Intermediate Administrative Leadership School (Sepadya)/Spama/Diklat PIM Tk III (1997), Leadership Development Training Program (2007), Bappenas Coaching Program (2009) and Diklat PIM Tk II/ Spamen (2010).

    His carrier started in 1998 in National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) as Planning staff and was assigned in various strategic positions with his last position as Director of Religious, Culture, Youth and Sports Affairs (2012 – 2014) before assigned to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy as Expert Staff in Science and Technology (2014). Then appointed as Acting General Director of Tourism Destination Development (2014), and Deputy Director of Tourism Destination and Industry Development of the Ministry of Tourism (since June 2015).
