His career began as a staff of the Masterplanning Division at PT Gajah Tunggal Property (1994 -1995), then became Information System Manager and Assistant VP at PT Batasa Capital (2002 - 2006). He Joined the Bakrie Group as Vice President of Direct Investment at PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia, an investment holding company (2006 - 2007). Representing the Company, he was appointed as Commissioner at PT Aetra Air Jakarta (2007 - 2009) and Director at Acuatico Pte. Ltd. domicile in Singapore (2006 - 2010). In 2008 as VP of Business Development at PT Bakrieland Development Tbk until 2010 he was appointed as Director of Business Development at PT Acuatico Air Indonesia, a subsidiary of Acuatico Pte. Ltd. His last position was as President Director at PT Aetra Air Tangerang (2010 - 2015), a 25-year concession provider in Tangerang Regency with a PPP (Public Private Partnership) scheme. He is involved since the beginning of the tender process held by the Government through the Ministry of Public Works, until completion of construction and full operation. The Company supplies clean water through pipes to more than 70,000 households and 276 industries with a total production capacity of 900 liters/second.
He earned a Bachelor Degree of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University and BSc in Management Information System (MIS) - College of Business at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2001.

His last position was as Director of Finance at PGN (2016 - 2018) and holding both positions as Director of Business and Development Strategy at PGN (2017 - 2018).

At the end of 1999, he joined PT Bank Ekspor Indonesia (Persero) as Head of the Audit Department, then served as Head of the Treasury Division (2005 - 2009). At the end of 2009 the government changed the status of PT Bank Ekspor Indonesia (Persero) to the Indonesian Export Financing Institution (LPEI) or Indonesia Eximbank where he was appointed Head of the Asset Resturancing Division until 2011 before being appointed as Director of Development of PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Bali (Persero) or BTDC which later became ITDC.
He earned a Bachelor Degree of Economics from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Business Management (MBA) from Gadjah Mada University, starting his career as a Marketing Manager at PT Samudera Indonesia in 1982 before joining PT Bank Dagang Negara (Persero) (1985 - 1999) with the last position as a Team Leader Audit. In 1992 - 2000, he was involved in various projects such as PT Citra Permatasakti Persada (Computerized SIM Police Project in 1993), PT Citra Buana Beton Perkasa (Cengkareng Integrated Settlement Project in 1994), PT Citra Lamtoro Gung Persada (Kuala Namu International Airport Design and Manggarai Integrated Terminal in 1995) and PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (1997 Triple Decker Project). Since 2008 he has been involved in the JORR W2 North Tollroad project of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as Director of the Concession Project and Director of PT Jakarta Marga Jaya, Jakpro Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) until June 2015. He was assigned by Jakpro as Head of Corporate Communication Division of PT Jakarta Tollroad Development (6 toll roads in Jakarta) (2012 - 2014) and subsequently became Director of PT Jakarta Infrastructure Propertindo (a subsidiary of Jakpro in infrastructure) since July 2014.
He is actively playing role in various professional organizations, such as the Indonesian Transportation Society (MTI), the Telecommunications Tower Provider Association (ASPIMTEL) and the Indonesian Tollroad Association (ATI), Head Committee of the Professional Madani Community Infrastructure Compartment (MPM) and Chair of the KADIN Infrastructure Center Standing Committee .

After graduating from APN Bandung, he was immediately appointed Assistant Lecturer and Head of Exhibitors (1968). Upon his return from the assignment of studying in Switzerland, then he became a Lecturer (1972-1973) and was trusted as Acting Director of the National Hotel Institute (NHI) Bandung (1973 - 1976), then as Acting Director of NHI (1976 - 1978). Subsequently he was appointed as Director of The Nusa Dua Hospitality and Tourism Education Center, Bali (1978 - 1985) in addition to being a member of the International Hotel Association Education Commission (1974 - 1984). He graduated from the Bandung Academy of National Hospitality (APN) in 1967, Hospitality Management at the Glion International Institute, Switzerland 1972 and the College of Administrative Sciences - Institute of Public Administration (STIA-LAN) in 1977 and took part in SESPASUS education in 1992. The course at the National Defense Institute (LEMHANAS) was taken in 1995 and he graduated by winning the Wibawa Seroja Nugraha award.

He commenced his career as a government employee in the environment of the Regional Government of Sumbawa Regency in 1990, then promoted to the NTB Provincial Government office as the Head of the Education and Training Program Sub-Section in 1995. He has undergone various assignments within the Culture and Tourism Office and the NTB Provincial Secretariat to become the Head of Culture and Tourism (2008) and subsequently became the Assistant for Economy and Development of the NTB Province Regional Secretariat (2013).

His career began in 1988 with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) as a Planning staff. He has taken various assignments and strategic positions until serving as Director of Religion, Culture, Youth and Sports (2012 - 2014) before being assigned to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy as Expert Staff in Science and Technology (2014). Then he was appointed as Executive Director General of Tourism Destination Development (2014), then served as the Ministry of Tourism’s Deputy for Destination and Tourism Industry Development (since 2015).
He earned a Bachelor Degree of Civil Law from Padjadjaran University (1986) and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, United States (1994).
